Probably the most important skill in a cold reader his toolkit is his ability to listen. In a conversation the cold reader should always be on the hunt to find clues that could improve the accuracy of the read. The Sixteen Personality Types in which humans can be subdivided will help you to quickly find out with type of Personality the target has and which other characteristics and life struggles usually come along with these personality types.This post will consider the first 5 personality types which are: The Duty Fulfiller, The Mechanic, The Nurturer, The Artist and The Protector.

01# The Duty Fulfiller

Characteristics: Peaceful, Responsible, Organized and Security

The first Personality type considered is the Duty Fulfiller. Duty Fulfillers are often quiet and reserved individuals who value secure and peaceful living. This personality type is often well organized and likes to approach problems and work methodical. This makes them often succeed at any task they undertake.

Duty Fulfillers often find it difficult to say “No”. This could often cause them a lot of stress since they value keeping promises and often being perfectionists. Making them have to work hard and long.Furthermore, they’re not comfortable with breaking the rules.

In general, Duty Fulfillers are great colleagues because they are hard working and often social. They are effective individuals with a skill for logic, reason and a deep desire for security and peaceful living.

02# The Mechanic

Characteristics: Logical, Independent, Introvert, Patient and Optimistic

The Personality type Mechanic has a strong drive to understand how the world around them works. They excel at making logical analysis and apply it for practical concerns. Mechanics like to take things apart to see how they work.In their work they like to work alone and don’t value obeying the rules highly. If they don’t completely agree with the rules they often tend to break them. This makes them very independent but don’t like to work behind a desk the entire day. Further they have a sharp eye for detail and make quick, effective decisions.

Also in their personal life Mechanics like to spend time alone, because this will help them keep their mind clear and focused. A Mechanics mind absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world. This makes that they avoid making judgments based on personal values and that they are based on the fact.

In life, they usually don’t have much trouble with school due to their introvert nature and their skill to think logical and with reason. Finalizing, they are usually patient individuals which are not always too skilled in showing emotions.

03# The Nurturer

Characteristics: Harmony, Kind-hearted, Traditions and Dislike Conflict

The Nurturer designs his or her life concrete and kind. They are truly warm and kind-hearted individuals and tend to see the best in people. They are very sensitive to other people’s feelings and like to help others. Nurturers often have an exceptional memory in remembering personal information they receive.

In the design of their own life they value security, kindness and have respect for traditions and laws. A Nurturer is often extremely dependable. The house of this personality type is often well decorated. Their approach to learning is more practical as theoretical. Therefore, they often depend to have difficulties on school with courses based on logic and reason. This makes that they are likely not holding high degrees but prefer to leave school early.

To summarize: The nurturer type dislikes conflict and will always try to avoid it. They have a hard time saying “No” when asked to do something for someone. In these tasks they feel very responsible and have a tendency to become over-burdened. Further, it is important to give the personality type of The Nurturer positive feedback.

04# The ArtistCharacteristics:

Strong Aesthetic, Freedom, Independent and Reserved

A Personality Type where senses are a central part of their life. The often have interest for the way things look, taste, feel, smell and sound. They often have a strong gift in creating or composing things that stimulate these senses.

People in this type often have a strong opinion on what they think is right or wrong and are likely to rebel against anything that is wrong. The jobs and careers Artists pick often allow them to have a lot of freedom. Often they are quiet and reserved, which makes them hard to know really well.

Artists often have special interest for the beauties of nature. Last, they have no desire to lead or control other people, just as they have a lot of difficulty with others trying to control or lead them. This personality type will often struggle in life in a financial way, but the amount of freedom and working towards personal goals can make it fulfilling.

05# The Protector

Characteristics: Caring, Intuition, Stubborn and Orderly

Only a few people are considered to fall under the personality type of The Protector. They are gentle, caring, sometimes complex and highly intuitive individuals.

Protectors try to create a world around them that is orderly and systematic. On the coinside they operate intuitively and have a tremendous amount of faith into their instincts and intuitions. Because this trust in their own instincts other people find Protectors stubborn, since they don’t listen to other peoples suggestions. Protectors believe in constant growth, and should be told to take time and look back on what they have accomplished.
